Stayed at Posada del León de Oro for two nights and it was lovely. They front desk folks were lovely and helpful and held out bags because we arrived early. Our room was bigger than I expected and very modern in contrast to the building and neighborhood. The room has AC and an amazing shower. The neighborhood is quiet at night and even in the morning it wasn’t loud. Lots of restaurants options and super accessible to several metro stations and walking distance to many attractions including La Plaza Mayor. Would not hesitate to go back.

I just spent 2 nights solo in Madrid. Perfect little hotel in an amazing walkable location. Kind staff and the room was very clean. Not a very fancy experience but great value and amazing location.

This is a very lovely, small hotel located in a beautiful part of Madrid. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Helen was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.
