The hotel is a bit far out from the shops so unless you’re reasonably fit , you might need a car. Our room was large an good sized en suite. The other problem I would point out is that, iagain if you’re struggling with walking ,or require the aid of a stick or other walking aid there’s a lot of stairs to reach some of the rooms. My husband did struggle with them. Ideal for a one night stop over.

Staff and location were wonderful. Very economical. The floors (corners and behind the doors) in our room and bathroom were very dusty!

The hotel is ideally situated at the north end of the town providing lovely sea views, a short walk to the town facilities and harbour. The rooms were large, modern and clean with adequate facilities. The staff were friendly and check in was quick and efficient. We had dinner at the hotel and were very impressed with the abundant choices in the menu at very reasonable prices. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious with very large portions. The included breakfast was similarly delightful with a large number of choices to meet most tastes. We had the full Scottish breakfast which was huge and filled us for the rest of the day! In summary, we highly recommend this hotel for a perfectly stay in this ancient fishing port, ideally situated for exploring the beautiful East Neuk of the Kingdom of Fife.
