The Palace was originally built in the late 14th Century. The owners have done a wonderful job adding modern amenities while keeping the building authentic.

The hotel was lovely we had chosen it because the restaurant had been recommended and we did not want to travel off site for our evening meal. Unbeknownst to us there was a wedding at the property and the restaurant was closed. Had we known this in advance r we would have organised something else. Fortunately the wedding finished at 9.30 but we were very disappointed about not having a meal.
