I would have given it 5 stars because it was a lovely hotel, but we had an incident with the lady at the front desk. We didn't have a chance to take a picture of us in front of the hotel when we arrived, so we got it the next day. Apparently the lady at the desk didn't recognize us when we sat in front of the doors to take a picture. She came to the door and basically told us that we were blocking the door. We jumped up and opened the door thinking someone was wanting to come out, but there wasn't anyone there. I guess she didn't remember that we were actually guests at the hotel. When we walked into the hotel she didn't even apologize. Why would we be taking a picture in front of the hotel doors if we weren't staying at the hotel? I thought it was very rude and unnecessary.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Every time I called for room service, they were at the door before I hung up. Their service was always quick. When I needed a taxi, they ordered one right away, and they even booked a van to the airport at a great price.
The hotel’s location was super convenient to attractions like the Colosseum, but it was a bit far from the Vatican. So, we rented bikes from a nearby shop.
The only downside was the shower that kept overflowing. The drainage wasn’t smooth, so we had to turn off the water multiple times to clear it out in the middle. The room rate per night was quite expensive!
