This is a lovely hotel in an amazing location. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home and looked after. Only caveats are that the rooms are small and that it being a gorgeous old building, it doesn't have a lift/elevator, so if you have heavy luggage or issues with stairs, ask for ground floor rooms.

I enjoyed my stay, staff were great, My biggest complaint is that my room was technically in the attic/4th floor with no elevator access and very steep stairs. This is not mentioned anywhere when selecting a room. I am a capable older woman but this was even a lot for me. Location of hotel was perfect for our trip. Would suggest you warn others when booking of lack of elevator access to upper floors.
