It was such a great experience, our first和室 style hotel. While a bit of a climb. The view and price are absolutely worth it! I wish I could spend a week in the area cycling the trails and visiting the nearby shrines. Being so far from major metropolitan areas, it felt like the Japan you heard about long ago. I def will strongly consider coming back. 😎

Cozy old ryoukan with probably one of the best scenic views in the prefecture. There are also plenty of cats around the premises.

An amazing friendly, peaceful guest house to get a more authentically Japanese experience. Well worth the walk up for beautiful views and quirky allies to explore - the best spot in town.
