Herring House is a great place to stay--I enjoyed it immensely. I booked one of the cabins which included access to an outdoor shower. Although somewhat skeptical, the proprietor, Helga, convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did--truly an amazing experience even though the temperature was a little above freezing. The accommodation was extremely clean and ideally situated with restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Siglufjörður.

Cabins fit for a hobbit. So quaint and romantic. Good view and a well tuned guitar. Loved it.
