The hotel was self-check in and served coffee and tea in the open area. Cooking was also possible in the kitchen. The price was reasonable for 2 people per stay. The surroundings were quiet.
Sound proof was kind of poor in the room.

Everything. The hotel provides a very equipped kitchen that you can make a banquet; a lounge with billiards; all the equipment for kayaking in the lake.
The view was also very beautiful, mountain, lake, fjord.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise for us. It can be great just for staying overnight or for a few days; even with the family to recharge and explore. The location is very convenient. The rooms and the bathrooms are sufficient, but what stands out is their common areas. They have excellent professional style kitchen with everything what you need while you’re traveling. The eating area is very inviting and big. They have seating areas and gaming room. They provide kayaks. Also they have free laundry facilities. We stayed in East fiords at the hostel and paid $15 to wash and dry just one load. Adry, the staff member, was a wonderful help in the evening and in the morning.
The price is very reasonable compared to many other hotels in Iceland. I strongly recommend this place for anybody for overnight stay or for a few days to explore the area.

The check-in was very easy and the room was nice. It was very quiet and the free coffe, tee and hot chocolate were a pleasent surprise.
The plates were not as clean. There was no stove or sink in the kitchen. It was just a dining room with a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, a kettle and cuttlery with plates.
