We really enjoyed our stay at The Herring House. The cottage was clean and cosy, and breakfast was generous, with a good variety of food. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower, as well as the lovely views of the mountains and the village. Both hosts were very warm and welcoming. We’d love to come back.

Charming, cozy, cabin, with hot tub.
No inside shower. Outside shower was enjoyable when it wasn’t raining.

The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a relaxing hot tube. The hosts are very kind and it was a pleasure for us to meet them personally and have a chat. This is the way to know Iceland. We are looking forward to come back.
