The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.

Great hotel. The owners were very welcoming. The bungalows were modern and clean. The included breakfast was excellent (better than most 4 star or better). Views are amazing. Definitely would return.

Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning.
