The spaces were extremely clean, the location was great, really near to Prado Museum

The place is very nice and modern. The contactless check-in and check-out process is very easy. However, if you get a room on the basement floor you can hear the street noise very clearly.

Room was clean, easy access into the building and in a great neighbourhood!

Many of the low reviews reference the confusing and unusual automated check-in procedure. It is a bit fiddly, and some of the issues are probably due to the different email systems and various reservation numbers associated with AYZ's system and the third party booking systems, which have their own. I was able to find mine by requesting it, looking it up. There are a number of different emails, which can also be confusing. IMPORTANT: DO THE CHECK IN, INCLUDING A PHOTO OF IDENTIFICATION AND CONFIRMATION OF IDENTITY BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. Another tip: keep a copy of the important links with the door-unlocking system separate and convenient -- that is the way that you enter the building and the room. I was concerned that the room would not be air conditioned, as some reviews said -- however, the premier/ superior option was. The simple room had a fan, but the whole space was generally cool. The place is a semi-basement, so one room I had was very slightly musty. I'm quite sensitive, and it did not bother me, not moldy. When I had a question about joining two reservations so I wouldn't have to check out and check in again, the answer to cancel and rebook from their AI chatbot was incorrect, and would have cost me a full extra stay. I typed that I would like to talk to a human agent. The person came on immediately and quickly resolved the issue. Don't trust the first answer. Also, I left something in the room accidentally, and it was returned quickly and easily. Excellent for the $.
