Pros:
-the room was clean and spacious (aside from a dirty bowl a previous guest put back in the cabinet)
-very comfy bed and pillows of different softness available
-nice decor
-easy contactless checkin and checkout
-plenty of towels available
Cons:
-there is a hidden $100 "property fee" that isn't mentioned in the listing and is only shown at checkout, and then another $100 damage deposit, so you will be paying $200 more than what you initially see for nightly rates.
-the immediate area isn't the greatest. the "event venue" next door (which you have to pass by to get to the parking lot) is a strip club, and every time I passed by had some people lurking around outside while it was close, one time an unhoused couple having a loud argument
-the laneway to the parking lot isn't well maintained, lots of broken glass and garbage on the ground, probably related to the above
-limited free parking (5 spaces)

The hotel was spotless, charming decor and probably one of the quietest hotels I have stayed . The forest room is very small no closets but bed was comfy and bathroom amazing . Not much in the area for restaurants etc but if you need a place to stay and use your car really easy! Parking was as they said it would be .

Great place to stay as part of our trip to Toronto and Canada. Easy route to the centre of Toronto, nice place to stay and good space for us to rest and enjoy when not out and about.
