We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay.

Amazing property! True 5 star service and accommodations. If I could give than 5 stars, I would! One of the best properties we have stayed at. Thanks to Jay and team for a memorable stay!! Highly recommended!!

Exceptional. This hotel completely redefines what a five-star experience should be. It makes you rethink all the previous five-star review you've given simply because nothing went wrong. Hulbert house sets the standard, and few others deserve to be in the same category.
Staff are always keen to help and would put in a lot of nice touches. Particularly love how they would put a couple bottles of water in the car as they pull the car out for you. Also the 5pm canapé/wine were nice (great sav blanc), as were the night time NZ candies and tea in the room.
Hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the lake, 5 min walk from town, perfect location to visit Queenstown and only a short drive from the two ski resorts.
