The host was extremely helpful and always available. He gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and also helped us store our luggage after check-out. The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, while still being within walking distance of everything you need. For a complete and authentic Rome experience, this is the place to book. It exceeded all our expectations.

The location near Piazza Navona made our whole Rome stay easy. You can walk everywhere - to Castel Sant'Angelo, Campo de'Fiori, great shopping streets, wonderful restaurants and singing in Trastevere, Pantheon, and the Tiber River in minutes. The Vatican and Colosseum were also both easy walks (we walked to both but taxied back $$$). We grabbed pizza right outside the front door when we arrived, and the host was able to buzz us in and get us to the key in the lockbox. The AC worked well too, which mattered a lot during the June heat. Great location for anyone who wants to explore Rome on foot. My son appreciated 2 tvs, ability to use netflix, just one set of stairs to get into apartment. The storage space in the bedroom was great, better than a closet, so much room to unpack and hang things. The location was exceptional. Felt safe and liked being in the middle of everything, but still in a quiet part of the street - no outside noise, but literally so many places closeby for shopping, food, gelato, beautiful buildings, "Welcome to Rome," Chiostro del Bramante, croissants, etc.
The apartment had a few minor drawbacks. The shared patio was dark and only opened to a roof, so we checked it out once but never used it. The bathroom grout could use a good scrubbing, and we noticed a few small ants in the kitchen. Overall the place felt clean, just not spotless in those spots. The pictures online are 100% accurate - but for some reason I felt like in person it felt a bit smaller and darker.
For the price, it was a great value especially for the location. We just wished we had more budget to stay somewhere a bit more special this trip.
