A good-sized, well equipped studio apartment with a large slightly soft bed and a very comfortable single sofa-bed. The bathroom was fitted with a good-sized shower cubicle and a very controllable and efficient shower with both fixed and adjustable shower-heads. The bathroom sink was quite small, but was enough for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped with a combination microwave/oven, two induction hobs and an efficient and quiet refrigerator. There is no kettle as the property has a tap system that can supply boiling water on demand. The supply of crockery and cutlery was generally adequate for two people sharing. The room is equipped with plentiful power-points which are all sensibly sited and all equipped with USB connectors. In addition both of the bedside lamps were also equipped with a USB and a USB-C socket. The room also has a very efficient and relatively quiet fan which was much appreciated as there was a heatwave occurring when we stayed. Although the siting of the property is semi-rural it is well served by the number 28 bus which connects to the train stations at Lewes and Eastbourne. There is a very good coffee shop next to the property and a small supermarket and restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
There were multiple small teacups, but some larger mugs would have been appreciated. Likewise the supply of drinking glasses/tumblers was a little disappointing. A washing up bowl in the kitchen sink would have been useful, both in terms of simplifying washing up and reducing water usage, (there was a drought an hosepipe ban in force when we stayed).

The location was good, the accommodation was clean and as described.
There was no kettle, instead there was a boiling water tap. These taps do not make good tea! This particular hot water tap made loud noises at intermittent intervals, including during the night, presumably when heating the water, even when the tap was not being used.
I had concerns about the allocated parking space which was very narrow and left my car exposed to risk from farm vehicles.
