About this house rental
The Farmhouse at Solsgirth Home Farm is a lovely renovated farmhouse sleeping up to ten guests. There is plenty of room for families or groups to spread out indoors and out, including paths around the working farm, which features rhea, emu and llama, alongside traditional pigs, cattle and sheep. A short drive away are fantastic walks in the hills or along the coast, with Glasgow, Edinburgh & Dundee within an hour's drive.

Our family consisting of 8 adults and 3 little people had a fabulous 3 night stay at Solsgirth home farm to celebrate a big birthday. The house just couldn’t have been better, really comfortable and spacious. The farm tours were a huge hit with children and adults alike. We also thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and outside dining area as well as the hot tub. We also loved the ducks parading across our lawn. Loved the on site Roastery where we ended up each morning for coffee after our farm tour. Can also highly recommend Jillie McCord, celebrity chef who came in to do a fabulous 5 course dinner on the Saturday night. Such a fabulous place and fabulous location.

This was our families second stay at Solsgirth Home Farm. Yet again an incredible stay with memories to last a lifetime! We love this place!!! We can't wait to book again! Jan and her team are all incredible and make you feel straight at home. Thank you!!!

Lovely homely house in a great location, with friendly helpful owner. A green and restful setting on a working farm of which we were given an interesting tour by Jan. The wood fired hot tub was a hit, the perfect way to watch the stars come out after a day exploring the many historic sights of the area. We highly recommend Solsgirth Home Farm.

We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay at Solsgirth Home Farm and really enjoyed our time there. We particularly appreciated the warmness of the welcome, the welcome pack and the manner in which the children were treated when feeding the lambs and being shown the animals.
