Beautiful experience from an absolutely well-trained and friendly staff. The property was beautiful and my friends from outside SA were so happy with the experience. They want to come back, just because of the accommodation. The rooms are so generous, with everything you need and more. I love that there is a washer and dryer in the room, and a stove. There are plenty of restaurant choices within the property. I love places that showcase South African hospitality.
Just one thing to consider: to inch closer to the world-class excellence of The Royal Portfolio and other properties like it, include a welcome basket with complimentary toiletries you already have access to anyway. This will prolong the memories made at your property for each guest who came through your doors, and they will think of coming back each time they use those toiletries, that room mist, etc.

Excellent design
I loved the property, the problem is many of the requests i made were not executed, I’m very disappointed by that.
It was my wife’s birthday- i asked that they do something nice for her, despite them agreeing that they would they didn’t, i had to ask the restaurant where we had breakfast to do that.
I told them my check out time but no one came to pick us up to collect our bags
They didn’t give us a gate exit card/code, we found out at the gate that we needed one
We wanted to go to the lagoon only to be told that because we checked out already we cant be allowed in, when in-fact it was part of the steyn city tour and we could’ve been dropped off there, imagine!
They forgot about the tour i booked, i had to remind them about it, they then booked it for 11h30 only for them to change it to 12h00 without any communication, total disregard for my time, total disrespect and not a single apology came from them, the only nice thing was the tour guys and the place itself, the service was very poor because of the things i mentioned above
