Staff was FANTASTIC!! Can’t say enough about how warm and friendly and hard working at least the staff I interacted with were . The resort is lovely if you aren’t looking for an extravagant amount of things to do and to just relax. They do however have excursions for additional fees. If you are looking to just lay on a beach, this is not the resort for you. The view is beautiful from a beachfront room however, you can’t go and walk on to it and lay nor go into the water. There is a bayside of the resort that offers a small area to be able to go in to. The main pool was a little small but we were lucky to be visiting on a slower week. We also did not know there was an Adults Only section. This I will keep in mind for future consideration! I would like to point out that Riaan the GM was absolutely HANDS ON & very interactive with everything & everyone! Very refreshing! Overall it was a lovely time so thank you!

Loved how friendly and helpful the entire staff at the resort were. Our room and property were very clean. Special kudos to our pool bartender Crisheida who was awesome. All the food, even the buffets were good, but they advertise 6 restaurants and most of our stay only two were open most nights for dinner. Also our beachfront room had beautiful views, but our beach ( the Atlantic side) was unusable because of all the seaweed. Only the Mamora Bay beach was usable, but very nice.

As is very typical of this resort: everything is kept a secret that it is up to the visitor to figure out. For instance, the beach photo shown of the property is the beach where the seaweed washes in daily. There is no swimming but there is a big stink. Their remedy (there is none for the problem) is to send a tractor with trailer onto the beach every morning at 7am to grind away while workers clean up. Sleep in on vacation? Forget it!
The swimming beach is on the large bay also shown in the photo. The water is definitely dirty.
No one informs you of what restaurants are open when: you must ask. And if you get that information, someone else will tell you something different and no one tells you to make dinner reservations days ahead of when you might actually want to go to one of the restaurants. The absence of information was really annoying. Could they not provide all the information in a one-page handout including a resort map at checkin or in the room? On the plus side, the resort is kid friendly and food is good.
