We stayed at this property for 5 days and loved it. After days out sightseeing our two children were kept entertained by the arcade game, pool table, board games, piano and hot tub. The cottage is very comfortable, spacious and clean and has everything you need to feel at home. The location is brilliant - a quiet, peaceful area with beautiful views of the mountains. It's not too far from Selfoss, which has everything you need in terms of shops - there's also a brilliant swimming facility and gym in Selfoss. If travelling with children we recommend the local swimming pools within a short drive from this property. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had and were very pleasant and helpful. We will most definitely be visiting this property again.

The hosts were in constant communication with us leading up to our arrival, we always felt in the picture, the house door has a code entry system, the hosts inform you of this code shortly before arrival for entry to the house.
The house is beautifully located, quiet and with breathtaking views. The facilities go beyond the norm, billiard / pool table, steamshower, hot-tub outside on the terrasse/deck, which has countless seating areas and a firepit with seating, the outside BBQ equipment includes a gas bbq for a quick fix and a Big Green EGG for entusiasts! The house has parking at the entrance to the house for numerous cars, easily accessable for us in our rental car up a track road.
The kitchen is trully fully equiped with all mod cons, condiments, spices and herbs. There is a coffee machine including coffee capsules.
The house is about 1 hour and 45mins from KEFLAVIK International Airport, the drive was great we could take in the raw beauty of Island on the way over. In turn the house is about a 25-30 minute drive from Selfoss, which is on the way coming from the Airport. We bought our shopping from the Bonus supermarket there, they have most things one needs; a good selection of quality products, soft drinks fresh vegetables, meats and dairy, plus veggie products if required. Wines and beers can be bought at the wine shoup located in the same areal as the Bonus Supermarket.

It was clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed and loved the pool table. Beds very comfortable.
We didn’t enjoy the huge amount of flies! They were out of control. We didn’t like the location. The steep steps going up to loft was terrible! We had a couple of falls. Steps were dangerous! Parking area was very difficult when people were at other house.
