Heysen Hideaway is in a great location, only a few minutes drive from Uraidla. The main bedroom is very spacious, with a super comfy bed. The kitchen is well appointed, with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. The one bathroom has a large shower. The laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer with detergent supplied. There are two living/lounge areas with TVs for relaxation, and comfy seating. A dining table is part of the central dining/kitchen area. The yard is large and well kept, and can easily be safely enclosed with the two front gates. The house keeps relatively cool in the heat of summer, and when needed, A/C is in both living areas.
We would happily stay again, and have already recommended this fab home to family and friends.
The bedrooms can get a tad warm so ceiling fans would be a great addition. The air con can come through from the lounges, but it's not strong enough to cool the rooms effectively.

Clean and neat plenty of room for families or a large group of people.
The booking stated that with a two night stay eggs, bacon, bread and juice would be supplied, it was not there when we arrived which was a shame. Did have jam, Vegemite and peanut butter for toast. Nice selection of teas. I was surprised there were absolutely no tissues anywhere in the kitchen or bathroom, the split system in the main lounge room had a error code when we turned it on the code was linked to clean filters I opened the front panel and the filters looked like they had not ever been cleaned it was a quick fix placed them back and it was working again just hope the people who stayed before us had a working unit or they would have been very cold. The house was clean and neat plenty of beds for a group or large family.
