I was a little surprised to see so many 10s and 9s, as I think there are some areas that could still be improved. I truly enjoyed the location — it is a wonderful spot, and being close to the main museums and attractions was a big plus. As a regular visitor to Venice, I especially appreciated being in such a convenient and authentic area.
Once I was in contact with the host, the communication was friendly and everything felt good. The towels and toiletries were also a nice touch, and having a 'kitchen' available was definitely an added benefit.
I would absolutely consider staying here again, especially as a solo traveller. However, I am not sure I would choose this apartment when travelling with another guest, as the space and comfort might feel more limited.
I had a lovely stay overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the apartment, the internet connection was weak (and no Wi-Fi information was provided), and the apartment felt darker in reality than it appears in the photos.
The bedroom does not have air conditioning; the unit in the hallway provides some cooling, but it is quite noisy. The lighting could also be improved — some areas are very bright, while others would benefit from warmer ambient lighting. A comfortable sofa or seating area would also be a welcome addition, as there is currently no real place to relax.
Communication before arrival could be improved as well. When questions are asked in the days leading up to the stay, having no response for several days creates uncertainty, especially with the increasing number of scams and hacking attempts in the travel sector. Although it is mentioned that the information requested through the check-in link complies with GDPR, the amount of personal data requested feels more extensive than necessary. Requesting copies of identity documents is particularly concerning, as European privacy regulations place strict requirements on the collection and storage of such sensitive information.
I was also asked whether I had followed the check-out instructions, but no check-out instructions had been provided.
Finally, it would be helpful to review and update the location on Google Maps, as clearer directions would make the apartment easier for guests to find.

La proximité immédiate de la place San Marco.
La machine à laver, bien pratique lorsque l'on reste plusieurs jours.
Le prix raisonnable au vu de la localisation.
Incontestablement il y a un vrai soucis de communication avec le propriétaire (voir aussi commentaires précédents sur Booking).
En effet, le propriétaire n'a pas répondu à mes messages laissés sur Booking quelques semaines avant mon départ, mais n'a également pas répondu à quelques jours de mon arrivée lorsque je lui ai demandé comment accéder au logement. Je suis finalement parvenue à échanger mais avec difficultés et manque de réactivité via Whatsapp. Mais il a m'a fallut le relancer régulièrement.
J'ai même du prendre contact avec Booking car a moins de 2heures de mon arrivée à Venise, je ne connaissais toujours pas le code d'accès au logement ! Booking a également tenté de le joindre (sans succès) et m'avait même proposé une solution de relogement si besoin.
Bref, un contexte peu rassurant lorsque l'on arrive sur place, et cela traduit un véritable manque de sérieux.
Je n'ai d'ailleurs pas eu plus de réponse de sa part quand je lui ai demandé si il y avait des instructions particulières pour le check out !
J'utilise très régulièrement Booking et c'est bien la première fois que cela m'arrive.
A noter cependant, qu'une fois que j'ai alerté Booking sur ma grande difficulté à joindre le propriétaire, celui ci m'a envoyé un message pour s'assurer que tout était OK dans le logement. Je pense qu'un dossier de réclamation a été ouvert suite à mon appel et qu'il s'est trouvé contraint de m'envoyer ces messages.
Autre point d'amélioration : il n'a pas de clé pour fermer la porte du logement situé à l'étage. C'est uniquement le code de la porte situé au rez de chaussée qui permet de sécuriser l'accès au logement situé au premier étage. Une clé ou un verrou pour fermer l'appartement depuis l’intérieur serait quand même un vrai plus pour donner un sentiment de sécurité.
Appartement plutôt sombre.
