I travel a lot and have stayed in many different types of accommodation, including luxury hotels that cost 10 times more than this. Honestly, this is one of the most reasonable, high-quality and decent stays I have ever experienced.
I had seen a few negative reviews before booking, and after staying here, I genuinely have no idea how some of those criticisms can apply to a place of this quality and at this price. Of course, everyone has different expectations but for me, the value for money is 100%. If Booking.com allowed me to give more than 10, I absolutely would. The two managers are doing an excellent job. Their professionalism, attention to detail and genuine hospitality are truly top-notch.
The room was exceptionally clean, with fresh, beautifully smelling bed linen and large, clean white towels. The air conditioning worked perfectly and appeared to be very new. The Wi-Fi was also excellent.
One detail that genuinely surprised me was their approach to bathroom cleaning and hygiene. I checked in a little early, just after my room had been prepared and when I entered the bathroom, I noticed that the bathroom floor was actually warm and dry. I asked the staff about it and only then did I discover that they use hot water from their solar hot-water system to clean and wash the bathrooms. I have stayed in many places but I had never come across this level of attention to hygiene at this price point.
They also provide several thoughtful extras that you normally wouldn’t expect at this price. complimentary luxury brand tea bags in the room, free earplugs and a mosquito repellent vaporizer. The location is extremely convenient. The free breakfast was also far better than I expected.
What impressed me most is that they provide all of this at such a reasonable price. I genuinely keep wondering how they manage to maintain this level of quality and service at this rate! Worth it. I would happily choose to stay here again even if the price were doubled.

Pour le prix de la nuit c'est parfait.
Arrivée en pleine nuit à 4h du matin, nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire. Ce dernier s'est montré agréable et respectueux.
Chauffeur mandaté par l'hôtel à un bon prix aussi.
La chambre au rdc, simple et propre avec une climatisation au top.
Les draps sentaient trop bons, j'ai adoré ce premier contact avec le Sri lanka.
Petit déjeuner sucré avec vienoiserie.
Ne vous attendez pas à un petit dejeuner Sri lankais.
Nous étions sur la terrasse, de l'encens brûlait dans un statue de l'hôtel. J'ai aimé cette attention.

I liked the location and its proximity to the beach. The rooms were decently sized for a quick stay before a flight the next morning. The staff helped me clean the room, turn on the a/c and even ask the neighbor to turn down the music because the Easter party was taking place with massive party speakers projecting into the streets.
There were lots of bugs/mosquitos in the room when I arrived and the a/c hadn’t been turned on, so I was a bit terrified when I arrived. The manager helped me get rid of some of the bugs, but they just kept appearing from a gap in the bathroom window.
