Welcome to Kensington Kabin by Pacific Properties MN! We are located in the heart of lakes country, just 15 minutes west of Alexandria, MN. Our lake home is conveniently accessed with just one turn off of Interstate 94 onto State Hwy 27.
Once here, you'll appreciate the comforts of a modern lake home with significant renovations made in 2023-2024. Bring the kids! The lower level caters to great family time with a home movie theater and a bedroom with four built-in bunks. They'll have lots of laughs playing games in the large backyard and swimming in the shallow waters.
Want to unwind? Enjoy a peaceful sunrise over the lake while sipping coffee on the large deck; or say goodnight after a fun-filled day with a cozy bonfire near the beach. Adults and kids alike will appreciate that Lake Oscar is large enough for your favorite water sports but quiet enough for some fantastic fishing. Truly a hidden gem!
Accuracy and transparency is important to us. Please be aware that the property does not have a washer/dryer or dishwasher and that the cabin is located on a state highway - traffic can be heard from the house.
Per Douglas County ordinances we are required to verify guest Name, Address, and Vehicle License Plate. You will be required to provide this information with valid ID and signed Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking.

The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing girl's weekend. The beds are very comfortable and the lake was great for fishing and kayaking. We loved the kitchen, especially the coffee bar! It was nice to have a movie night with the projector too. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved it here!!! The lake view was amazing… loved the bench on the dock - so peaceful. The house was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. They even provided a bowl of coffee pods and creamer, which most places don’t do. So nice! We played yard games, did the kayak, played ping pong, built a little fire in the fire pit. Watched tv on the big screen. Communication with the owners was prompt and they were so friendly. Thanks for the great week!!
