The pictures truly do not do this place justice. The cottages are quaint, charming, and very well maintained. Everything was spotless upon arrival, and while the accommodations are simple, they are equipped with all the old-school basics needed for a comfortable stay.
We stayed here as a family of four with two teenagers and had plenty of space. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful waterfront and mountain views that create a peaceful and uniquely Icelandic atmosphere.
One of the highlights was the hot tub located in the center of the property—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated having access to a washer and dryer on-site, which was very convenient during our trip around Iceland.
The property also offers a buffet breakfast and dinner option, although we chose to eat in town during our stay. Overall, this was a comfortable, scenic, and memorable place to stay, and we would not hesitate to return.
Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful Icelandic getaway.

we were fortunate to stay two nights here. Super friendly staff and we loved spending time with the resident dog and arctic fox. So quiet and the little cabins are the cutest. We were able to do laundry and just relax after a few busy days. Can't say enough about this cute place
