Great location, beautiful views. The house was very nice, and a perfect spot for our large group of 11. I wish we had spent more time here, it would have been a great place to explore eastern Iceland from.
We rented the entire house, so sharing communal areas wasn't an issue, but you should know that there are shared spaces if you aren't.

Everything.

Good for a one night stay. Comfortable beds. Nice view of the river from the room. Clean shared bathroom
The shoe storage room in the front is a bit musty. Pervasive smell in the kitchen area due to use by other guests.

Location was quiet, in a residential area by the lake.
Rooms pretty basic, and some not really isolated - so I could hear all noise and smell of food people were cooking 7am in the morning.
