MOLD HEALTH HAZARD!!! DO NOT STAY!

Nothing!

BLACK MOLD! See pix from the bathroom. And even if it's been "cleaned", it's probably in the walls. Owner's 1st suggestion - use the AC split. (Main reason why the mold is so bad is because he instructs guests to turn off the AC when they leave.) Didn't help. I did turn on the bathroom fan - no help - noisy, weak, and dirty. Final owner solution - leave sliding door open a bit and left me without saying anything! Yes, it was late but I was left wondering was he coming back? The door needed to be open @ least 2 ft. to be any help. Not safe for a single female! (Yes, it opened to a walled courtyard but the wall was scalable and animals could have also entered.) Got maybe 2 hrs. sleep. When I went to leave the next morning, he was right outside waiting - creepy with the door left open. Walked me to bus. Nice. Promised to refund me without me asking. I should have made him give it to me in writing because he now refuses! So his word means nothing. Ignored my follow up message. Superficially, the place looks nice but if I had known about the mold, I wouldn't have even stayed there for free! If you care about your health and safety, do not stay here especially since it has an unethical owner. (I should have left this review sooner but I was trying to get help from Bkg. dot com 1st.) I should add I travel worldwide often to very rural areas. I don't expect perfection but I feel it's a reasonable expectation to be safe and not have my health compromised. I've booked with bkg. dot com more than 40 times.
