Beautiful location. I was able to watch bald eagles soaring over the lake, even saw one swoop down and catch a fish! the bed was incredibly comfortable, found out from the owner, that they're the mattresses used at Sheraton hotels. the deck with the railing height tables were a great idea. The shower head was powerful, and all of the little touches were not expected - an espresso machine, complimentary snacks, a gas grill, free ingredients to make s'mores at the fire pit, a sauna, multiple types of coffee, puzzles, and telescopes. I'm coming back in a few weeks!
The door lock was a long combination, but it worked fine.

Friendly staff. Good shared use of common areas, fishing poles, kayakers, bikes, telescopes ,fire pit, grill, all for use if needed.

I liked the comfort of the bed and pillows, especially since they kept me cool while sleeping. I liked the interesting coffee pods, like maple bacon. I liked how the helpful staff member Chris carried my luggage up so many stairs. Smores by the campfire was fun, just alot of stairs to get there!
The stairs were difficult, up to room, down to car, even farther down to firepit and tunnel to access parking lot! There was a large step to access grassy area, which could easily be improved with one small step.
The bathroom was awkward: the toilet seat kept shifting around, the toilet paper holder was behind the door and the rack for clean towels was wobbly and not attached to wall properly.
There were several families staying there long term, who had taken over both kitchens and common lounge area. I heard them gossiping about me and didn't feel welcome

I did not see any breakfast, but then was eager to leave. I at least got to sleep it was quiet.
We could not get in the stupid coded lock it was late and we were exhausted and the guy acted like it was our fault he gave us another room via phone never saw a human. It worked so obviously we can work a lock. It was weird hard to find isolated and not especially clean smelled weird. Very small room like a dorm no tv which did not care but some may. Plus we were afraid if we left the room could not get back in. We had business in ironwood in morning.
