I have traveled a lot. This apartment is superb. Clean, city center, coffee, washing machine, dishwasher. Everything you need for your stay. Staff polite. Recommend.

Loistava sijainti lähellä kaikkea. Miljöö ylitti odotukset: rakennus oli kaunis ja asunto viihtyisä. Siellä oli kaikki tarvittava ja oma rauha. Pisteet annan myös sängystä, joka oli keskimääräistä parempi, ei pehmeä kuoppa kuten usein.

Excellent location near Riga's Old Town in one direction and shopping mall and central market in the other direction. Faced the canal and park. Liked the apartment's white and navy blue decor. Was spacious for two people with a very large bedroom, a small sitting room, a kitchen and eating area. Convenient lift to reach the apartment on the 6th floor. Manager sent very clear instructions on how to access the building doors and the apartment key in a lockbox. Bathroom had heated floor and good shower. There is no free car parking, but we chose this apartment anyway based on the other factors. There is a short driveway where you can park briefly to unload luggage before moving to a paid lot a few blocks away.
Our biggest complaint was that there are no curtains on any of the windows so be prepared to take some tape and a cloth to hang over them. We hung up a small travel blanket over the kitchen window when we sat there because people could see in from the balcony of a nearby apartment building when they went out to smoke/vape. We moved the blanket to the bedroom at bedtime to block out bright lights from the shopping center. Also, as you can see from the photos, the ceilings do slant so if you are really tall, you might find yourself bumping your head. Finally, if you are traveling in late September when it starts to get chilly, be aware that the city does not turn heat on to most buildings until October 1. We had two chilly nights before the heat came on. Despite all this, I would stay there again but take a second cloth to cover up two windows at the same time.
