Exuma Sea La Vie (Cottage 29): Beachfront / Oceanfront villa with beautiful views of the ocean, beach and sunrise that are just steps from the front door. The beach in front of the villa is white and sandy overlooking Elizabeth Harbour, with relatively calm waters protected by picturesque Stocking Island where stunning views are a given and goosebumps are guaranteed.

Kim and Jim at Sea La Vie are absolutely wonderful! They were VERY responsive from the moment I first communicated interest in Sea La Vie to the time we got home. I had many questions before our stay about the area but they never hesitated and very prompt with replies. Their knowledge of Exuma is extensive; from airport information, packing hacks, groceries, weather, rental cars, rental boats, must see sights, restaurants, taxi service, etc.You have a question- they have an answer and/or a great suggestion. Checkin's a breeze @ Sea La Vie &was ready when we arrived.We were taken back withthe beachfront view we had and the cleanliness of the villa. The cozy front porch made for perfect conversation, and beautiful sunrises with a nice cup of coffee from either of the two coffee makers they had available. Sea La Vie was very clean and comfortable. Everyone in our party slept very well.The beds were especially comfortable and many pillows to choose from.There were plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices, electrical appliances or hair styling needs.The kitchen has been remodeled and is fantastic! Easy to maneuver around while preparing and/or cooking.The appliances are all new and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen has all the appliances, utensils, bar needs and cookware that you could need! Kim and Jim have done very well listing Sea La Vie accurately with pics and descriptions.We have already planned our next trip to Exuma and will be staying again at Sea La Vie!

I cannot say enough good things about Kim and Exuma Sea La Vie. From the moment we booked she walked us through the planning of our entire trip. She answered every question, was so very responsive, and never made me feel bad for asking so many questions... and I asked many. She also made our daughter feel very special while we celebrated her birthday during our stay.The unit was perfect for our family of 3. Well equipped, I cooked every day except for 1. They had everything we needed and more. Don't hesitate to ask if they may have something you are thinking about packing- they probably have it and you can leave your things home and pack light. The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing, and you cannot beat the location- close to Georgetown and a good home base if you want to explore both ends of the island. We had a small issue with the sink and it was fixed before we returned from our outing. Everyone at Hideaways is friendly and helpful. We were there during some unusually cold weather- so we didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities- but everything was beautiful and it was way better than being home in the freezing cold.I highly recommend!! Hideaways is not a luxury resort. But it has very good amenities and this particular unit was fabulous. And, the owner continue to make upgrades- so it will just be even more fabulous.

Sea La Vie does not disappoint ! Excellent communication from your host will remove any uncertainties. The updates and finishes inside, compliment the beauty of Exuma immediately out the front door. We spent ten days starting with a cup of coffee, planning easy day trips from our location, or walking less than ten minutes to our favorite beach Jolly Hall. Sea La Vie will remain a top find in our travels. Enjoy!

The title says it all. Nice location but was told the day before I had to bring hundreds of dollars in cash to pay a fee not previously disclosed
