Fabulous snug annexe room in beautiful surroundings and stunning location. Nothing was too much for the staff who were so warm and welcoming. Sensational breakfast, literally the best we’ve ever tasted. We will most certainly be back! The bedding and pillows were dreamy, and a nice hot shower too.

A rare gem of a pub with great atmosphere in a corner of ancient England long forgotten. Charming staff, earthy yet delicious food, atmosphere of jovial locals and folk music had a magical feel.
Good beer, and generous food, cooked excellently and presented.
Whilst the pub had heating/plumbing failure, open fires and the warm reception of the very apologetic staff more than made up for it and it turned into a great evening.

Couldn’t fault anything!
The staff were friendly, the pub/restaurant area was lovely, the beer garden is a perfect setting on a sunny day and the room was so nicely presented and extremely comfy! Had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while!
