This place far exceeded our expectations. And the host was exceptional too and very welcoming. Attention to detail is applied throughout the house and you can definitely see pride of ownership. Very nicely furnished and decorated. The house is well maintained and quite clean. There are 3 heat pumps for added comfort, with very quiet operation. The host left us a basket of goodies, complete with water bottles, red wine and port. We definitely felt very welcomed. And the house was VERY well stocked, especially the kitchen. We had access to olive oil, coffee. and some spices. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking and prep items - way more stocked than the average vacation home I've stayed at in the past. And plenty of towels were provided. Luggage holders were provided in the bedrooms, which was also super helpful. The views of the ocean were amazing too!!!
If I had to pick something I didn't like, it's that I would have preferred to have been a bit closer to town. My friend and I walked into the city center of Horta several times, but it is quite the walk and a bit further away than expected. That said, this house way more than made up for that with all that it had to offer.

La maison dans son ensemble, la terrasse extérieure en bord de mer, pour les chambres du haut, on est bercé par le son de l'océan, magnifique
