Lovely old pub, excellent food,really nice little bar. Nice size room with a large bathroom and shower. Beautiful cooked breakfast.

Lovely old pub in a quiet village. Great welcome and restaurant was super busy when we arrived. A great sign.
We ate there in the evening. Food was lovely, good portions. Nice selection. Catered for veggie and for gluten-free diet.

All staff were superb.
Staff acted very fast to rectify issue with hot water.
Flat, hard pillows.
Appeared to be some small snagging issues post refurb. Had a "not quite finished " feeling. Cupboard fronts (drawers) coming away when used.
Hairs from previous customer in the shower. Grimy corner in shower.
Water airlock in bathroom basin/shower so is difficult to get any water in the shower. Management clearly aware as there is a notification in the bathroom
why not just fix it?
The only thing we complained about was the lack of hot water on one morning - staff did act to rectify the issue with the boiler.

I did not like the bright green light in the room , but its there for escape so thats that.
