Zeer goede uitrusting om zelf te koken, wel geen aardappelmes wat toch redelijk cruciaal is.
Hygiëne: deuren van de keukenkasten vuil en vettig bij aankomst. Nog een lange haar in het bad van de vorige gebruikers.

Fantastic location, a few blocks from a metro station, great food & grocery options nearby, and a short walk to the beach (beware the nearest beach is a nudist beach - need to walk along to find the standard area). The building feels secure with a mobile app to open the entrance, room & terrace areas. All rooms had aircon and it was fairly comfortable. The bedrooms and living room have blackout blinds / shutters. There’s lots of storage space, cooking utensils & dishes, a large fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher. TVs with Spanish channels and YouTube, Netflix in the living room and the bedroom with two single beds. The upstairs terrace had some nice views of Barcelona and some sun-beds & chairs/table. It felt like the perfect place for a pool or at least some umbrellas/shade but unfortunately not.
The instructions said to please wash & dry dishes upon end of stay. But there was no dish soap, tea towel, dishwashing liquid/pods, clothes washing liquid/powder, beach towels or umbrella, spare pillows (1 per bed), and minimal toilet paper (2 rolls for our 6 day stay with 4 people). There were 4 coffee pods, no milk. Reception were friendly but unhelpful, providing one more towel but no other amenities including extra pillows or beach gear. We bought all that basic stuff from local shops, have never had to buy that much before anywhere we’ve stayed. No cleaning is done during the stay. The check-in process was a bit strenuous with links to pay city tax & deposit requested a week in advance, also had to sign a short term tenancy agreement with passport info & signatures from all guests, and download the app - took a bit of effort to complete. When running the washing machine or shower, water sometimes rose up into the kitchen sink and took ages to drain. The couch had a broken armrest on one side and with 4 people we didn’t find it super comfortable to all sit together in the living area. There was a problem with the living room shutters grinding loudly when closing, like it was out of sync, we tried not to use them often to avoid making it worse.
