Excellent location. Very clean and well equipped. The terrace was lovely!
The apartment was wonderful. Narrow stairs are hard to navigate but we realize that is a fact of life in old Lisbon.

Perfect quiet location in the heart of Barrio Alto, which is known for late night bars and nightlife - however we never heard a thing once in the apartment, it was silent. The balcony was a highlight and great in the morning for breakfast. It also had lovely views of the red rooftops. Comfy bed, responsive hosts, well equipped kitchen. Supermarket down the end of the road and lots of nice eateries within a 15 minute walk. Also only 15 minutes from the train station.
We just needed a few more toilet rolls and two extra pillows on the bed!

Great location with lots happening. Great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I had everything I needed. Love the terraces and balcony. If it had been warmer and less rainy, it would have been lovely to sit on the balcony. It's nice that it's on the top floor (there's a view and you're far enough away from street noise especially in such a lively neighborhood.) Host was very friendly and accommodating. I 100% recommend this apartment and would be happy staying here again!
The shower drain smelled perhaps from a clogged septic system in the building? The pillows were a bit uncomfortable and flat. I would recommend upgrading the pillows.
