Very spacious and the balcony was amazing with a beautiful view of the garden , the beds were very comfortable great value for money and just a short walk from the tube

Lovely street. 10 mins walk to northern line tube as well as tesco nice pub and a pizza restaurant in a classic car showroom! Room was large. Very comfy bed. Loved the communal kitchen. There is a hostel feel to the place. Welcoming. Comfortable.
Room and decor are dated. I mistakenly booked a room which wasn't ensuite...luckily I could upgrade.

Great location, large rooms, use of kitchen, friendly staff and the faded grandeur of a Sultan’s London home (marble bathrooms, tennis court in the garden). We enjoyed playing tennis and chatting to other guests. The nearby Bonga Cafe in East Finchley does a superb coffee.
The place is a bit neglected (guttering falling off, rubbish in the garden), some mattresses were uncomfortable and a few items were missing (no bedside table lamps).

The staff were lovely and really friendly, and the kitchen was so well stocked and the kids loved it. They even got treated to Krispy Kreme donuts! Great location and some really nice parks and restaurants nearby with good transport links.
The toilet was broken - seat cracked, and it had come away from the floor and was propped up with a door stop, so when you sat down on it you had to be careful not to tip, and the sounds it made when it flushed were concerning. The carpets were really mucky too and there was a little space between the two bedrooms that could really have done with a chair or small sofa or something to sit on
