We spent most of our time sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful variable blue colored ocean. At night you could hear the shore break peacefully through the open French doors. We did not miss having an AC. Easy access to some great snorkeling, particularly if you are a strong swimmer with fins. The included golf cart to get into Avalon proper was an excellent thing to have & it was in great shape.
The bathroom is very spacious, but the wrap around mirrors date it; not my taste. Also, the terrace needs to be washed down ... the bottoms of my feet were black after a day of going out there barefooted.

The view was incredible. The villa was very nice and sea decorated.
They have an issue with ants. Owner contacted me before. Had weird conversations with owner. She first called me the day before and said I had too many people.. Then after calling her she apologized after repeated emails. Then my adult son and daughter were coming back in the cart and she told them that someone had our cart? We were like “no”. We have the property cart. Lots of signs on the trash cans and kitchen telling you what to do. We stay a lot in Hamilton cove I think we will choose another unit next time .

The view is breathtaking. The owner thought of all the necessary appliances and even provided small snacks at home. A golf cart is available for the unit, which is essential for that location, and I’m glad it was included in the rent. They also had some beach furniture and kids’ toys, which I noticed at the last minute on our check-out day. They provided a crib upon request and, most importantly, a heating appliance, which was wonderful since we traveled during Thanksgiving and it was cold outside.
Everything was great, only the arrival experience wasn't as I expected and apparently it was my mistake not reading through the instructions properly.
Just a note for anyone traveling there—especially during the holidays: book your taxi in advance (we got lucky someone picked us up on the way going up to the property). You definitely need a vehicle to get there upon your arrival.
