James, the owner, is lovely. Had a great chat with him.
Hostel is clean and modern. Bunks all have individual power outlets and a lamp. Bathrooms are clean.
I got my washing done at the hostel too (self service) and that was fine.
A simple breakfast of bread, cereal and milk is provided and that was much appreciated.
The hostel is a couple of suburbs away from the Old Town but there is a good bus connection with a stop 100m away from the hostel.
There was an issue with reception being unattended when I arrived but James communicated really well through Booking.com and txt and was able to sort out entry into the hostel for me.
The main entry door to the hostel also malfunctioned overnight but it was rectified the next day. The hostel still remained very secure because each dorm has a key code lock and lockers are provided for valuables.

It was cheap and the location was good
Weird vibe. Unusually high numbers of old men staying. Many beds crammed into the rooms.
