The location was very central and excellent and as advertised. A very short walk to San Marco Piazza. A supermarket next door and a great gelato place 5 mins away. The flat was very spacious, clean and with good facilities to cook for a family. Although next to a canal it was not noisy. Quite close to the San Zaccharia vaporetto station (best not to get off at Rialto) for transport links. The company managing the flat allowed us to wait in the flat for a couple of hours (free of charge) so that we needn't wait on the streets with our luggage, which was kind of them.
The AC remote in one of the rooms was missing and so it was quite hot overnight for the people staying in the twin room. The AC in the other rooms were working but could have been more effective. The radiator in the hallway had been left with a lose bleed screw, which meant that there wasn't enough water pressure in the system for the boiler to work. Fortunately, my husband noticed a puddle of water and worked out what the problem was. After he tightened the screw, he was able to increase and maintain the pressure in the boiler after communicating with the host company who gave us instructions on what to do with the boiler, so we did have hot water for showers. A point to note is that the staircase to the first floor was steep and double of what we expected so if you have elderly members in the group do not stay here. No problem for the young and fit.

Sobre todo, la ubicación. Cerca de plaza Sant Marco y del puente Rialto. Supermercados también cerca( uno justo al lado. Y una cosa de agradecer es que nos dejaron hacer el check-in a las 11a.m. cuando lo teníamos a las 15pm nosotros llegamos a Venecia a las 8a.m.
Los muebles antiguos. Y el menaje cocina un pelín escaso. Y lo peor las escaleras, pero es lo que tiene Venecia.

L'emplacement est l'atout indéniable de ce logement. Placement central pour visiter tous les quartiers de Venise sans difficulté. Par ailleurs, il y a beaucoup d'espace. Nous étions bien à l'aise pour 7 personnes. Les volumes sont agréables à vivre : belle hauteur de plafond, grandes pièces. Le petit supermarché juste en bas de l'immeuble est parfait pour les petites courses du quotidien. On se sent immergé très agréablement dans Venise.
L'appartement est bien équipé, mais les équipements sont un peu vieillots (l'ameublement du salon gagnerait à être revu, les salles de bains mériteraient un coup de neuf) mais l'état est largement acceptable, et cela donne aussi son cachet à l'appartement ! Cela ne nous a pas dérangé outre mesure.

Die Lage war einfach perfekt. Besser könnte sie nicht sein. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren in der Nähe und direkt unter dem Apartment gab es einen Supermarkt. Ich fand es auch ganz gut, dass die Wohnung sehr groß ist.
Ein großes Dankeschön an die Mitarbeiter der Company (Putzfrau, Host, etc), denn ich hatte am Tag meines Abflugs mein Portmonee mit all meinen wichtigen Karten (Führerschein, Ausweis, Bankkarten etc) in der Wohnung vergessen und ich wurde sehr schnell darüber informiert! Ich war schon auf dem Weg zum Flughafen, da hab ich die Info bekommen und ich habe panisch darum gebeten, dass jemand dort auf mich wartet, damit ich meine Sachen abholen kann. Der Mitarbeiter wartete 40 Minuten in der Wohnung auf mich und hat mir meine Sachen persönlich übergeben. Als ich mich mit großzügigen Trinkgeld bedanken wollte, nahm er es nicht an und bestand darauf, dass seine Tat auf Menschlichkeit beruht. Sehr sehr nett!
Die Wohnung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, was aber ganz normal in Venedig ist. Venedig ist halt eine sehr alte Stadt. Allerdings könnte es auch etwas sauberer gewesen sein. Der Fußboden war nicht so sauber, wenn man barfuß gelaufen ist, waren die Füße nach 5 Minuten schon schwarz. Die Klimaanlagen haben kaum funktioniert, aber es gab noch einen Ventilator - dieser war aber so verstaubt, dass am Anfang der ganze Staub rausgeflogen ist beim anschalten. Nach einem Tag war der Staub aber dann raus. Im Bad hat es sehr lange gedauert bis warmes Wasser rauskam und der Wasserdruck war auch sehr minimal.
