Location was great for what we needed. Lovely house, given a tour when we arrived which was very welcoming. Beautiful grounds for a stroll around before setting out for our evening. The room was fine, comfortable beds/ bunk, tea and coffee making, plenty of drawer space if you need it, although nowhere to hang anything. Lovely people running the house which was obviously being refurbished. Quiet at night. If I return to this area I would definitely consider staying here again.
Bathroom light didnt switch off which wasnt a problem, but a waste of electricity. We were warned that the carpet was oil-stained by the door - again no problem. Light didnt work over the top bunk, had to move the bedside lamp from the double bed to the bunk so I could read. Construction going on but it had stopped when we needed to sleep. All of these things are very nit picky, and didnt affect the fact that we enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful grounds, amazing facilities for youngsters; lovely walking areas. We appreciated the ground floor en suite facility. Excellent shower.
No Air Con; poor kettle and condiments, no tissues. No bath mat Limited furniture.

Plenty of room to park.
The entire place seemed to be locked when we arrived - even though I had notified our time of arrival etc. Had to explore property to find someone to help us. He was very apologetic- but we still had to wait as he was leading a group of school children. The house itself appears in need of paint etc. Our room was in a side dwelling - guy explained they are doing Airbnb to raise funds so more kids can attend the camping program run in the house. The bathroom had been really nicely renovated, but as the guy explained the carpet looked dirty. If you are happy to have an 'unexpected' experience stay here. If you wish to help camping for kids stay here. Bed was comfortable. It's just as others have written -seems to be a work in progress -if you are fine with that, then stay.
