Ein sehr gelungener Umbau auf kleinem Raum, stylisch und alles da. Ein ruhiger, sauberer Ort, unmittelbar am schönsten Platz Palermos, der Piazza Magione gelegen. Francesco als Gastgeber könnte nicht besser passen. Perfetto!

Francesco made us very welcome and explained some of the history of Palermo and the area we were staying in (Kalsa). We opted to stay on the edges of the centre of Palermo - which is a mad, frenetic but exciting place to visit - and were happy with our choice.
The shower was fantastic and having the coffee machine in our room was great. We also loved the decorative touches to the room.
Easy walking distance to access the heart of Palermo - 15 mins - and less distance to visit the wonderful peaceful Botanical Gardens (for a break from the hustle and bustle). The railway station is a ten minute walk - a bit longer when arriving with luggage in tow, but eminently doable. We took an hour's train ride to Cefalu for a day by the sea which was fabulous but so were the days spent wandering around Palermo visiting churches, cathedrals, the Teatro, etc.
The room was lovely and there is a lot of shelf space available. Personally I would have like a little more hanging space, but that's because we'd been away a while and had many clothes to hang. It's ideal though for a 3/4 night stay.
If you haven't been to Palermo before, give yourself time to adjust - the centre can feel overwhelming, but so too can the walk back after your evening meal. The Kalsa area is quiet most nights (but vibrant at the weekend) and it can feel eerie, especially walking across the square/recreation area. Two days in and we felt relaxed; it's just so different at first.

The location of the apartment was very convenient to visit the center and nearby areas. The place was very clean and comfortable. Francesco was very friendly and helpful. He explained the history of Palermo and recommended us some places to explore for our trip. I can only recommend! :)
