The cabin was conveniently located close to the Ring Road and it was nice to have a kitchen and two bedrooms. Self check in was also convenient after a long day of driving the Golden Circle and the start of our Ring Road drive.
We may have been the first visitors to the cabin for the season, because there was a fine layer of dust just about everywhere and it could have used a good wipe down, sweeping and the bed sheets shaken out (some critters about). Overall, it did not feel clean compared to the other accommodations we stayed at along the Ring Road. Also, while it had the convenience of a hot plate, there were no directions on how to use it and it took some trial and error before we figured out how to use it. The toilet also made a loud buzzing type noise throughout the night, but we shut the door which helped tone that down.
