We stayed in the newer stand alone cottage. It was by far the best stay of our entire 2 week trip. For the FIRST time, our room was spotlessly clean. That was the one thing that frustrated me. All of our rooms had at least one thing off and one (in Glascow) was a nightmare. This room was meticulously clean (and we kept it that way). The cottage is in the middle of flat farmland with the dramatic mountains in the distance. We could even hear the distant roll of the waves. I saw the aurora here! It was thoughtfully appointed with everything you would need. It had a nesspresso with pods, a kettle and basic spices, honey, oil, etc. They also had a electric water kettle, stove (no oven) microwave and toaster (for our lava baked bread!). If you can fit a somewhat remote stay into your itinerary, stop here for sure! It's not too far from Vik and other places, so it would make a luxuary basecamp for a multinight visit.
Nothing at all. Even the entry instructions were timely, accurate and understandable. It was about the only time we did not have to contact an owner to figure out how to get in!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, eine tolle ruhige Lage und super ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren super lieb und hilfsbereit. Mehr als empfehlenswert!

Très bon accueil, la chambre est très bien et confortable.
Attention si vous y séjournez en hiver, les routes pour y accéder son difficilement praticables par temps de neige. Pas de cuisine, le lavabo de la salle de bain sert d’évier.
