I travelled to Kochi for my solo birthday trip. I chose Sarada Mandiram for my stay. It looks vintage, cosy and giving me portuguese vibes. The decor with wood doors and stunning interiors with so much detail altogether the stay seemed to take me back to the old days. On the top, there was downstairs aesthetic cafe to get my coffee and pastries indeed a bonus point. The staff and room service was very prompt and quick. The location is excellent to go to Fort Kochi with nice fish resturants nearby, also the station is very close.
I would add something to improve the hotel service. For example, the room service was not there to clean the room every day. Atleast I would like to get fresh bedsheet or a change of coffee cups with restock of tea, coffee and toiletries. There was unavailability of breakfast one morning so it may be good to check on these services.

Really enjoyed the traditional Kerala-style architecture and the calm surroundings. The property has a unique old-world charm, and the staff were very polite and helpful. It was a nice place to relax and experience something different.

The residence is nice, rooms are acceptable
Staff is offline. They never listen to your requests even if they say Yes. The second floor is extremely noisy, you can't even sleep from the noise of the water pump. The ground and first floor are noisy because of the guests ( tables for for breakfast and lunch in both floor) the sound proofing in the hotel is extremely bad.
