Quiet, clean and comfortable. Large patio to sit and enjoy viewing the beautiful garden. Hosts Bob and Gladys were incredible. We also loved seeing Bernie the friendly family dog! Exceptional 3 night stay. We will definitely be going back.

Gladys et Bob sont des hôtes absolument charmants sympathiques et serviables qui vous font vraiment vous sentir chez vous dans leur logement. Très bien situé dans un endroit calme mais proche des commerces de première nécessité le studio est très propre et spacieux. L'accès à une terrasse privative a également été très apprécié.
L'endroit est un peu isolé sur le plan des restaurants dont le choix est limité. Mais bien sûr cela n'a rien a voir avec le logement lui même ni avec ses propriétaires qui, une fois de plus sont extrêmement acomodants et se mettent en quatre pour vous satisfaire.

I had a wonderful stay at Oyster River Guest Room 11/10. I ended up traveling alone unexpectedly and Gladys and Bob were amazing, and helpful hosts. In fact, they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The space was cosy, and I really enjoyed sitting on the deck and the lovely gardens. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and allowed for privacy when needed. The area is small but amenities and good food and breakfast are very close. Bernie the dog was a highlight for me but if you aren't dog person they can keep her inside. Also, the price was great compared to stays the area. Would definitely recommend for solo or couples travel.

It is a nice quiet area, and the room was overall lovely.
Cleaning was passable - I know I was given an early check-in, but ...
Pillows and bedding, towels were nice.
Coffee area with fridge, microwave and kettle was nice.
Very unsecure! There is no lock on the room door, and the main entrance door would not lock. I arrived back in the evening to find my room door Wide open!
The shampoo provided was nice, But the body wash was horrible scented.
The toilet roll holder was horrible, being only about 6" off the floor and part of this huge magazine holder that made using the facilities difficult.
I always check beds for bedbugs and found none, BUT the mattress was disgusting.
Would be nice if there had been a place to set my suitcase.
