The most accommodating host at Miracle View, Lakshan made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is at the top of a rough terrain track, but have no fear, Lakshan has a Tuk Tuk at the ready to bring you up, unless you don't mind a short hilly walk that is!
The breakfast provided was beautiful, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast full of flavour and enhanced the whole experience, we departed early and Lakshan was extremely kind and provided us with fruit, water, milk and breads to take with us on our journey. Highly recommend staying at Miracle View!

Very nice and helpful host. He helped and picked us up from Ella Town when we did not get a transport for the family. Very clean.
Nothing. Only little issue is that the last 100 meters to the location are very steep and Tuk-Tuk drivers sometime refuse to drive up the last piece..... But if you then just walk the last meters you are rewarded with a "Miracle View".

The location was perfect, a short tuk tuk drive from Ella main street yet far enough away to escape the crowds and enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery.
The breakfast was cooked fresh daily and had a nice mix of traditional Sri Lankan food with fresh fruit and toast.
The owner Lakshan and his family were very welcoming and were able to provide lifts into town for us.
The balconies are great places for birdwatching, we saw the occasional deer and monkey too.
The upstairs room was perfect for our 11yr old daughter, who had two double beds to herself 😆

Lakshan no ha podido ser más amable con nosotros. Se despertó a las 2:30 de la mañana para bajar nuestras maletas en tuc tuc y prepararnos el desayuno ya que salíamos muy pronto para ir a Yala.Ademas nos ayudó a reservar actividades y desplazamientos. La cabaña es perfecta, con materiales de alta calidad y mucho gusto. Las vistas son espectaculares, no dudéis en reservar.
Está un poco alejado del centro, dado que está en la cima de una colina los tuc tuc suben con dificultad. Pero si buscas un alojamiento lejos del bullicio de Ella es perfecto, además hay varios restaurantes muy cerca.
