It was in an excellent location for us as we were wanting to hike Blencathra. Lynne was so welcoming; recommending an excellent local pub for the best pie, booking a table for us & also helping us to plan our walking routes for the next day. Our room was so clean and comfortable and we enjoyed delicious overnight oats in the morning, prepared by Lynne. We will look forward to staying here again.

Lovely B&B. Highly recommend. Lynne was welcoming. She helped us with some places for our evening meal. The bedroom was very nice. Breakfast great. Me & my sister stayed after Trek26. We both had a restful sleep & would return in future. Thank you! 😊

It’s a working farm, the outside gardens sre in great shape, inside the farmhouse is as you would expect, typical farmhouse, the room was very spacious, and the continental breakfast was fantastic.
