The owners are very friendly and helpful. I was worried about the location as it’s different than on Google Maps but they helped me and also my Tuk Tuk driver knew the way! So please don’t worry - they will help!
There is wifi and they have snacks in case you plan on staying and using one or all of the 4 swimming pools! It’s quite a huge property. The owner will also offer to cook for you or get you snacks or help book tours whatever you need or want. She was very helpful and kind.
It was nice to smell fresh air after being in El Nido.
The breakfast was great and there is water to refill your water bottle.
The remoteness has both pros and cons. I do not ride a motorcycle and think it might be better for someone who does. But the owner also offered to drive me has I wanted to go somewhere.
I think it’s a nice vibe for families as sometimes other local families come and use the space for birthday parties or karaoke!
The first evening was Saturday so there was more noise along with the roosters and geckos ;) the second night was super peaceful and the last night the water from my sink, I think , was giving a bad smell so I just closed the door and ventilated the bathroom. I am sure the owner would have found a solution had I asked but it was late.
I prefer no air conditioning so it was nice for me
Although the huts are very well built and super cute, the noise definitely travels.
I splurged on this so spent most of the time at the property enjoying the peacefulness as my budget is usually more for dorm rooms in hostels
