Size of the room was good, separate toilet to bathroom which was a real plus. Good sized beds. Was really close to Dotonbori and about a 15min walk to the main station.
We thought the place was abandoned when we arrived. We didn't receive any room details before we arrived so my expectation was that I'd be given one at reception. On arrival the only thing at reception were piles of flyers and a screen with securirty footage. We kept messaging for the next 45 mins to ask what to do but got no response. Luckily while we sat outside some other people arrived and looked as confused as we did. Eventually we asked if they had a room number and they told us we had to message specifying you wanted one. As soon as we did it we received a room number . Bot? AI? Our room was clean but the sheets were not and it smelled of smoke unfortunately. Towels were weird microfiber material. A really stressful last night in Japan before flying out.
