We loved the old-world charm of this beautiful hotel with the dark wood accents and loads of storage in the spacious, comfortable room. We enjoyed the pool area several times to relax and get away from the heat. We had a good-sized balcony with a table and chairs and beautiful trees where we enjoyed our tea in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was an impressive variety of Vietnamese and Western options. It is a short walk to the river and the Ancient Town, and there are plenty of options for shopping and eating close to the hotel.
We really appreciated the friendly front-desk attendants who cheerfully greeted us each time we passed by, and even humoured me by helping me with a few Vietnamese phrases I was wanting to learn. That will always be such a fun memory for me!

This is a lovely hotel just outside the old town- an easy 10 minute walk into the heart of everything. The staff is incredibly eager to make sure you are enjoying your stay and have everything you need. They were also quick to address anything that we requested.
The pool is a perfect spot to cool off and the quality of the breakfast was great- freshly prepared eggs/omelettes, baguettes, fruit, and a number of hot dishes.
We didn't get a chance to use them, but they have free bikes too- which is nice since the old city is bike and pedestrian only.
Across the street is a great (and cheap) family run mini convenient store that has water, beer, snacks, laundry service, and even $4/day scooter rental.
There isn't an elevator but that was no problem for us- just something to be aware of.
The breakfast is in the neighboring building, but it's literally a 1 minute walk- so not a big deal.
