- the aircon could have been colder in the beginning but after requesting support the hotel instantly helped us and fixed the room temperature

We loved the old-world charm of this beautiful hotel with the dark wood accents and loads of storage in the spacious, comfortable room. We enjoyed the pool area several times to relax and get away from the heat. We had a good-sized balcony with a table and chairs and beautiful trees where we enjoyed our tea in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was an impressive variety of Vietnamese and Western options. It is a short walk to the river and the Ancient Town, and there are plenty of options for shopping and eating close to the hotel.
We really appreciated the friendly front-desk attendants who cheerfully greeted us each time we passed by, and even humoured me by helping me with a few Vietnamese phrases I was wanting to learn. That will always be such a fun memory for me!
