Location with pool and on the beach

The staff at the resort were very sweet and welcoming. The resort had really lovely communal areas, with plants, a koi pond and plenty of seating. The pool area was lovely, with lots of lounges to go around and towels provided. The hotel has direct access to Lamai beach, which is a beautiful beach and great for swimming. I had a lovely massage right on the beach which the resort offers at great value. My room was incrediblely clean and staff cleaned and restocked each day. I particularly liked the bathroom, it had lovely orange tiles and wonderful to have a bath. The bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was super soft. Breakfast was in a lovely setting near the pool and beach. The friendly chef at the omelette station was a highlight, he was so cheerful and made eggs however you liked. The area around the resort has lots of restaurants and shops.
Unfortunately the air conditioning was incredibly loud and so was the mini fridge. This was disrupting for sleep and peace which was a shame. The breakfast room was quite warm, they could benefit from a couple of extra fans. Although I loved the omelette station, breakfast was the same each day, some variation would be great for those staying longer. I booked an airport transfer through the resort and it was expensive.

Good location at quieter end of Lamai Beach. Friendly staff. Excellent pool adjacent to beach. Airconditioning worked perfectly. Tour desk very helpful arranging rental car. Good value for price paid.
Did not get the room that was booked because resort was "full" but were "upgraded" to family room which was very dark and tucked away. Room was clean but aged.

the location is excellent. the access to the pool and beach is immediate and water is super clean and not rocky at all. sand is soft. the staff at the reception was very sweet.
the staff at the breakfast room was cold and not very welcoming looking. looked and felt aloof. a bit too aggressive and impatient about getting the bill signed if i bought something. as if I was going to run away without paying. uninteresting breakfast. mostly not tasty. coffee was terrible. it wasn't filter coffee. made me pay for americano filter coffee. no fresh juice. all canned. i mostly skipped breakfast at the hotel even though it was free. I ate out. I love my breakfasts.
